Terms of Service
Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using this website, requesting services, submitting information, scheduling inspections, obtaining estimates, purchasing warranties, or otherwise engaging with Roof Doctors (“Company,” “we,” “our,” or “us”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and all applicable laws and regulations. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our website or services.
Authority to Enter Into Agreements
By requesting services or entering into any agreement with Roof Doctors, you represent and warrant that you are at least 18 years of age and have the legal authority to act on behalf of yourself, the property owner, or any entity you represent.
Services and Estimates
Any inspection reports, estimates, proposals, certifications, recommendations, warranties, or other information provided by Roof Doctors are based on observations available at the time of inspection and are subject to limitations described herein.
All estimates are subject to verification and may change if additional conditions, damage, or unforeseen circumstances are discovered during the performance of work.
Customer Responsibilities
Customers are responsible for:
- Providing accurate and complete information regarding the property and roofing system.
- Disclosing known roof leaks, prior repairs, defects, or other relevant conditions.
- Obtaining any required permissions from property owners, homeowners’ associations, or other parties.
- Obtaining permits when required by applicable governmental authorities unless otherwise agreed in writing.
- Maintaining the property and taking reasonable steps to mitigate damage from leaks or other conditions.
- Verifying permit history, roof age, and prior construction records where applicable.
- Performing any necessary painting, finishing, gutter cleaning, or related work not expressly included in our scope of services.
Failure to disclose known conditions may result in exclusions from warranties, certifications, or service obligations.
Inspection Limitations
Roof Doctors performs limited visual inspections of areas that are reasonably visible and safely accessible.
Our inspections, reports, certifications, and warranties do not constitute engineering evaluations, structural assessments, code compliance inspections, mold inspections, pest inspections, or comprehensive property evaluations.
Roof Doctors does not guarantee that all defects, deficiencies, or conditions have been identified. Hidden, concealed, inaccessible, or unsafe-to-access areas are excluded from inspection findings and certifications.
Exclusions
Unless specifically stated otherwise in writing, Roof Doctors does not inspect, certify, warrant, or assume responsibility for:
- Structural or engineering issues.
- Mold, mildew, fungi, or indoor air quality conditions.
- Dry rot, termites, or pest-related damage.
- HVAC systems and mounting equipment.
- Solar systems and mounting equipment.
- Skylights, antennas, utility masts, gutters, downspouts, balconies, patio covers, detached structures, or similar components.
- Conditions caused by condensation, inadequate ventilation, improper construction, or code violations.
- Work performed by third parties.
- Concealed conditions not visible during inspection.
Roof Certifications and Warranties
Any roof certification or warranty offered by Roof Doctors is subject to separate written warranty terms and conditions.
A roof certification is not a roof replacement warranty. It is a statement that, at the time of issuance and subject to applicable warranty terms, the roof is believed to be free of active leaks and expected to perform as designed for the specified certification period.
Roof certifications and warranties are issued solely at the discretion of Roof Doctors and may not be available for every property.
Any certification or warranty may become void if repairs, modifications, alterations, or other work are performed by parties other than Roof Doctors.
Repair Warranty
Unless otherwise stated in writing, qualifying repair work performed by Roof Doctors includes a one-year workmanship warranty covering the specific area repaired.
The warranty does not apply to:
- Damage caused by acts of nature.
- Damage caused by third parties.
- New leaks unrelated to the original repair.
- Lack of maintenance.
- Previously undisclosed conditions.
- Areas excluded from inspection or warranty coverage.
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law:
- Roof Doctors shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, punitive, or exemplary damages.
- Roof Doctors shall not be liable for interior water damage, mold, loss of use, loss of profits, diminution in property value, or similar damages arising from roof leaks or roofing conditions.
- Roof Doctors’ total liability arising out of any service, inspection, repair, certification, or warranty shall not exceed the amount paid by the customer for the specific service giving rise to the claim.
Customers acknowledge that roofing systems may contain hidden conditions and that leak diagnosis and repair may require multiple service visits.
Temporary Protective Measures
Roof Doctors may utilize temporary coverings, tarps, or protective materials during service.
Temporary coverings are not permanent waterproof systems and may not prevent all water intrusion. Roof Doctors is not responsible for damages resulting from the use, installation, or failure of temporary coverings.
Hazardous Materials
Roof Doctors does not perform hazardous material testing, identification, removal, remediation, or abatement.
If asbestos, lead, mold, hazardous chemicals, or other regulated materials are encountered, work may be suspended until the condition is properly addressed by qualified specialists at the property owner’s expense.
Payment Terms
Payment terms are governed by the applicable estimate, invoice, service agreement, or contract.
Unless otherwise agreed in writing:
- Payment is due upon completion of services.
- Past-due balances may accrue interest at the maximum rate permitted by law.
- Customers are responsible for collection costs, including reasonable attorneys’ fees and expenses incurred in collecting unpaid balances.
Credit card, ACH, or other payment processing fees may apply where permitted by law.
Cancellation Policy
Customers may cancel services in accordance with any applicable written agreement, cancellation notice, or consumer protection law.
Where work has been scheduled, materials ordered, labor committed, or costs incurred, cancellation fees may apply as permitted by law.
Right to Cure
Before initiating legal action regarding workmanship, warranty, or service-related disputes, customers agree to provide Roof Doctors with written notice describing the issue and a reasonable opportunity to inspect, investigate, and cure the alleged defect.
Right to Suspend or Refuse Service
Roof Doctors reserves the right to suspend, decline, or terminate services if:
- Unsafe conditions exist.
- Required approvals or permissions have not been obtained.
- Hazardous materials are present.
- Customer conduct interferes with the performance of services.
- Payment obligations have not been satisfied.
- Continuing work would violate applicable laws, regulations, or professional standards.

Roof Doctors shall not be liable for delays or failures caused by events beyond its reasonable control, including acts of God, severe weather, natural disasters, labor disputes, utility failures, governmental actions, supply chain disruptions, pandemics, civil disturbances, or similar events.
